For over four generations the family has been harvesting olives and producing this green-gold elixir we call Extra Virgin Olive oil. Always maintaining the traditional methods of olive oil producing, they eventually incorporated high-end technics, only to come up with the finest of products, the precious EVOOs.
Taste. Aroma. Texture. All in good measure “παν μέτρον άριστον” (pan metron ariston), as ancient Greeks used to say. All in perfect balance, only to offer you the purest of high quality treats. Gods’ nectar: olives, oil, marmalades, honey and vinegars.
It’s not just the finest of koroneiki variety olives the family uses. Nor is it just the cold press method that they apply in producing their premium quality EVOOs. It’s also the urge to take the products a step further and to offer you novelties that will make your life easier, healthier, better!
Ariston’s products have been featured on the Faith Middleton Show “Food Schmooze” on NPR, The Hartford Currant, National Public TV has featured our products for fundraisers, and we have also been featured several times on The Boston Globe as well as the Westchester County Magazine in NY.
In the winter of 2007 Ariston was featured on PBS WGBY’s “Making it Here in America.” Ariston’s olive oil and balsamic has received several Best in Connecticut Awards from 2001-2011.
